FAQs

You need to be 18 years of age or older, you must have governement issue photo ID, a credit card. The recommended minimum riding age is 14 years old.

You can ask your parent or guardian to rent one for you.

Yes it can be dangerous. Like riding a skateboard, ATV, dirt bike, bicycle or any other motorized or non-motorized vehicle it requires your attention, your care and some skill.

No it is NOT waterproof. The Onewheel is only water resistant and should not be intentionally introduced to water.

If you fail to return an elbow pad, wrist guard or any other item that was included with your Onewheel rental, the credit card used to rent your Onewheel will be charged for that unreturned item.

The credit card used to rent the Onewheel will be charged for the additional time.

We will accept a reasonable amount of damage as wear and tear. If the amount of damage is excessive, such as a broken board or water damaged etc. then the credit card used to rent the Onewheel will be charged for the repair. The Onewheel is a very durable piece of equipment.

Riding on asphalt, gravel dust, hard packed sand, grass, dirt trails, concrete, up and down moderate slopes and ramps. Standard street side curb hopping, sidewalks, trail riding, walking paths, bike paths. Riding on relatively smooth surfaces. Do not ride though puddles or attempt jumps. Do not ride it in snowy, muddy or in wet conditions.

Doing jumps, riding through water, riding in mud, riding into objects that are too large to go over. Riding in the dark. Riding in traffic. Riding with poor visibility. Riding in the rain. Purposely crashing into things. These are just to name a few obvious example. Not only will these types of instances damage the Onewheel and result in financial penaties, you can also cause yourself and others bodily damage and even death.
